Hey there.

So in a few months I am going to be building my first ever PC. I have asked many, many questions on these forums and you guys have been great. So today I just want to clarify my partlist.

There it is. I was originally going to go with the i5-4570 but that is now discontinued in Australia so the new Haswell refresh chips are the only ones that are available. From this video, I see that the i5-4590 can sometimes get close the i5-4670k performance, is that true?

I know, I could maybe squeeze a GTX 770 in with my budget but that means having to cut down on quality with a few parts. I really want to have the reliability of each part and know that it is a quality item. If you would like to suggest an alternative item or even whole build, then make sure that the colour scheme is all black with maybe a few bits of green.

Thanks for reading and I really appreciate all the help! :)

i would stretch for this mobo, if budget allows. also cx 600 corsair isnt that good and not haswell compatible. although you dont need 750w the evga it is an excellent pick for the money and haswell compatible! about the games performance it will be great as long as you keep anti aliasing at minimum levels!

The only problem is that motherboard is blue and wouldn't match my theme. Also, the power supply doesn't have many ratings.. is it still okay? When you say, not Haswell compatible, what do you mean? Doesn't it work with Haswell CPUs?

What do you think of that? It's in tier 3 and I really want to go with something that has more people using it on PCPartPicker. As appose to using something that only 1 other user has used.
