Ok so i got a new graphics card and psu. it so happens that the graphics card is not compatible with my old monitor so i hooked my pc up to my TV. it works perfectly until i try to play a game, i get around 5-15 minutes into the game and it crashes. my pc is connected to my tv through HDMI. when i get in the game and start playing for around 10mins it freezes and then crashes. it doesn't say not responding it just freezes.
Things I've Tried:
Updating Display Drivers
Changing resolution
Checked for OverHeating problem
CPU, GPU and memory are stable when playing

Please help. i know you guys feel my pain.

Specs:
GPU: Geforce GTX 760
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six Core Processor
Memory: 8GB ram (7.98GB usable)
Current Resolution: 1824 x 1048. 30Hz
Driver Version: 340.52
Operating System: Windows 8.1

Name the brand of the Psu please and it`s wattage.
Also if you look on the label on the side of the Psu.

Read what the 12v power rail, or rails say in amps.

If the system works fine in windows but falls over when playing a game.
It may mean because the 760 card Gpu does not have enough wattage and amps on the 12v power rail of the Psu to keep stable.

One other bit of advice, if you had another graphics card in the Pci-e card slot.
Did you uninstall the video driver it was using before installing the 760 card and it`s driver.

Because it will cause a crash, and even more so if it was an ATI based card with CCC driver.
The previous driver must always be un installed to avoid such problems as you are having.
That also includes the Ati driver if the cpu also has an embedded Gpu as part of the chip.

Your resolution is also wrong.
By default it should be 1080p at 60hz.
Or 720 at 60 hz.

At 30 Hz if on a tv with Hdmi its either a small screen bellow 32" or 40"
Or you have it set to interlaced mode.
You should see every alternate horizontal line as black on the screen if so.

psu is EVO-BLUE 2.0 750W
80 gold certified
Turbo Charge Provide another 100W (playing while using turbo charge does not solve the problem)
+12V rails and 62A
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW:
I have uninstalled the old drivers.
My resolution is actually 1080i, 1824 x 1048 (it's weird because i had to resize it)

Tried giving the computer it's own wall socket for more power. i figured the power supply may not get what it need from the 8 slot adapter. now using dvi to hdmi. tried old monitor with the dvi to hdmi. it will not work
