I am currently using Kingston Hyperx black 2x4gb at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-27 and I have acquired Corsair Vengeance (cmz8gx3m2a1600c9). I am using an M5A97R2.0 which as far as I know change the timings using DOCP profile for 1600mhz and I have enabled xmp. The Kingston ram is running at its allocated 800mhz but the vengeance runs at 667mhz. Iève thought about manually entering in the required parameters but im wondering if its a compatibility issues or do I have an easier solution?

My Current Setup:
Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl
M5A97 R2.0
PSU - XFX PRO550W Core Edition Single Rail ATX 12V 44A 24PIN
AMD FX 8320 Black Edition 3.50GHz (Socket AM3+) 4.0 Turbo
GIGABYTE GV-R927XOC-2GD Radeon R9 270X 2GB 256-Bit
Kingston HyperX Black KHX16C9B1BK2/8 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9
Kingston HyperX 3K SH103S3/240G 2.5" 240GB SATA III
ADATA S510 Series AS510S3-60GM-C 2.5" 60GB SATA III
3 x 110mm Case Fans

The timings not the same on Cpu-z but my bios says that they are. I cant choose to edit individually. So Im not understanding why the Corsair's are running at 667. My NB Freq. is 2207mhz when it should be 3200mhz? I tried to force a 1600mhz with Asus DOCP and it was worse. The Xmp profile is running on the Kingston but not on the Vengeance. It seems to run faster, but im not gaining 8gb at 1600mhz. Should I enter the value's manually? trying to avoid this as im quite rookie.

Have a feeling you are looking at the SPD tab of CPU-Z - that simply provides the information from the SPD, mneed to look at the Memory tab it will show the freq and the timings all the sticks are actually running at (all run at the same) and keep in mind it's DDR (Double data rate) so the freq will only show half of the effective freq i.e. if it shows 800 (then times 2) effective 1600

Cpu-z on the mem section shows my NB Frequency at 2207mhz. not 3200mhz? and my DRAM frequency is at 807mhz. FSB:DRAM is 1:4
I know about DDR showing 800mhz is actually 1600mhz.
My tRAS on cpu-z and my tRC value's are not the same on the SPD tab. Should I be looking at a different prog?
The timings on the Sticks themselves are 9-9-9-27 and 9-9-9-24. but so far I think the Asus Bios on my M5a97r2.0 has aligned the timings. i

You have different sticks in the rig, when that happens the BIOS tries to adjust to what it consideres the most effective timings, which it generally does fairly well, you might well be able to adjust the timings it has set for better performance by manual adjustments
