I am using the noctua nh-u14s, and on the spec of my mobo asus Z97-A, it says the cpu cooler connector is 4 pin, now I am reading the spec on nh-u14s, can't find anything that says this is a 4 pin connector cooler, my question that the cooler is it a 4 pin, 3 pin, what kind of a connector does have?? If it's a 3 pin, would it still work on a 4 pin connector on my mobo?? I pulled up the compatibility of mobos on noctua site, and asus Z97-A was on there, so I know its a go, but I am kind of concerned on the connector part, any comments would really appreciate, thanks.

It comes with a 4 pin pwm fan. The cooler itself obv doesn't have a connector though. It will work with 4 and 3 pin headers and you can switch the fan if you want/need something else.

should of thought about that, oopps, so basically the heat sink it self obviously does not have any connectors, the fan that has the connector to the mobo, gotcha, thanks for clearing it up for me....
