Computer Crashing Constantly

So I've built a computer recently. It has an AMD 6 core processor at 3.6-.8 GHz, the R9 270X Gaming edition graphics card, and (due to a bad stick I got from Newegg) only 4 GB of RAM. When I first booted it up, it crashed. Over and over. I took out one of the sticks of RAM and it booted up fine and I could download anything I wanted. But when I try to start up any game and actually play it even at the lowest of settings, my computer will crash and have a rough time starting up again. I will be getting back my full 8GB of RAM. Will that fix my problem?

My processor is the AMD FX 6300 6 Core. My motherboard is the Gigabyte 970A-D3P AM3+. I installed all the drivers from the disks and then went online and found the more up to date versions. And yes to the AMD Catalyst Drivers. My PC will run just fine for as long as I keep it on without any problems unless I open up a game and play for about 15 minutes. Then it just goes black but everything stays on.

In case that you are say that if you hit the restart it would boot again from the post , it`s could be a driver problem of the graphic card .
try to uninstall the graphic card driver from device manager and from add/remove program , than insert the driver CD , enter device manager and update the display adapter driver from the CD drive .

Processor: AND FX 6-Core 3.5GHx, 14.0MB Total Cache
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-D3P AM3+
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws 4GB sticks x2
Graphics Card: MSI Radeon R9 270X Gaming
PSU: Blackstone ATX Power Supply 700W 80 Plus Bronze
HDD: Western Digital 2TB ( I bought this from PC Laptops so I don't know all the specs on it)
And about running memtest. No, I haven't. But I took it into PC Laptops and the guy ran full diags on all my hardware and said that all but one stick of RAM checked out to be just fine so he removed that stick of RAM and it would finally boot up. With that stick in there, I couldn't get past the Motherboard logo screen without it either freezing up or rebooting or just going black.

I'm slightly suspicious of your PSU, mainly cause I don't really trust raidmax... I also can't find a single review on that psu.

As for the system itself, I would suggest maybe running memtest on each stick of RAM, and making sure its probably not that.

Why would the power supply be a possible issue? And I'm already going to get two brand new sticks of RAM anyway.

All right, can the PC boot into OS currently ?
after it crush during game, if you hit the restart will the PC boot into the operation system from post ?
If it does, uninstall the graphic adapter driver from remove/add program and from device manager, than install this driver from windows update or from cd drive or from the graphic card manufacture site .

I switched out my power supply and yet again, another crash. About 1 minute and 54 seconds into a game. I'm stuck and frustrated once more.

Yes, it can boot into the OS. It can do anything but play games or have to many windows open for long periods of time without crashing, which leads me back to the fact that it's the RAM. I have not try reinstalling the software for the graphics card because it has crashed and it takes a minute or two for it to come back up normally without crashing again. I will do that as soon as it's back up and let you know.

So, I was just starting it up again but I decided to open up Task Manager and watch the performance tab. My "Disk" section is constantly shooting up to 100% for doing absolutely nothing. I don't know if this is is significant or not, but everytime it gets in the upper 80's, it makes everything laggy. When I start running a game, the RAM's memory section starts going up. When it hits 78%, it immediately crashes. I tested that with two different games. Once again, I have a strong feeling that something's wrong with my RAM so I'm just going to get two new sticks and let y'all know.

I was running a scan through Norton and it didn't get very far without the Disk usage shooting up to 100 percent and then my PC crashing when I tried to open up Google Chrome. I'm thinking it's either my RAM or Hard Drive or both.

Windows using paging file during the PC work, if it state that the hard disk if filled up than try to reduce the usage capacity to let say 60% by moving files that you currently don't need to other storage if possible, and if the OS drive isn't SSD also defragment it , the next step is to replace the graphic card driver.

It is DDR3 1600. How is it not set up right and how do I set it up correctly?

OK, with that set, let's go with the 'good' stick and get into the BIOS, set freq to 1600, base timings to 9-9-9-24, CR to 2T or 2N (the letter is interchangeable, some mobos use T orhers use N, but many AMD mobos go to 1 instead of 2), then DRAM voltage where 1.5 is spec, try at 1.57 (perfectly safe) and then on to the CPU/NB voltage try it at 1.2 initially

I have the Dual BIOS from my motherboard, so I don't know where to go to change any of that. Can you give those instructions like you're talking to a 4 year old?

So another update. I installed more RAM into the two slots that I know work (assuming the Motherboard's RAM slots are bad) and the PC booted up with no problems. But in the process, I accidentally refreshed Windows. So I had to re-install everything. Regardless, now that the RAM is in a different slot on the motherboard, I got about 5 minutes of gameplay out of Skyrim as opposed to 2.5 minutes before a crash. So I am thinking that maybe it's a bad motherboard. Any thoughts?
