AMD Drivers faults?

Hi all!

I have a XFX 7990 I'm using drivers 13.9 at the moment, I was using 13.4 and updated to 14.4 but every time windows started; when the login came up I noticed all the colours, hue etc were all over the place, looked like a massive acid trip rainbow. So I looked in CCC and if i change any settings it fixes it but everytime i start my pc up it defaults to that rainbow mess of colours again. I can see everything, its just not the right colour at all. So, I went back to 13.9 and now its gone!

Its something to do with AMD's Drivers, basically they suck and need to sort it out!

Anyone else Having this issue or any issues with 14.4?

Stick with 13.9 and never update any driver if existing one is working okay, it's bad practice and unnecessary.
You should only update a driver if it adds a feature that you need or if it fixes a specific problem you are experiencing.
Otherwise leave it alone and don't get paranoid about keeping your drivers up to date!

Ask yourself this, do you want the latest drivers or do you want your PC to run properly? Often it's not possible to have both.
