Only recently I found out that HDDs and SSDs don't last forever..
I was stupid to even think that.
Now my question is: How long do they averagely live, AND when do I know they are dying?
(as in can I replace them in time?)
I have 6TB external (6x1TB) full of data, my worst fear is losing that data.
I have looked into RAIDS systems but I think they're too expensive for me.
In my desktop I have one 128GB samsung ssd (now one year old)
Thank you for your answers
