So, I have a problem and was yesterday all day trying to solve without luck. Here's what happened and what I've tried. (Sorry for anything on post, this is my first time ever posting on a PC help site and my language is very not-expert)

I was using my PC as I normally do, one monitor, just watching movies, nothing much. I play heavy games but wasn't playing them for almost a month, so my PC was being very underused. The screen started to flicker and get those image pixels errors (like a PC virus invasion movie) and them the screen went all fuzzy with a greenish lines image.

As I tried to reboot, the PC started normally but the monitor stayed at power saving, which happens when the computer is idle. He was supposed to be running normally as I just booted the PC. Then I started to check all cables, and he keep giving me the message as I changed ports: DVI power saving mode, HDMI power saving mode.

Opened the PC, everything was fine, the graphics card had the fan running smoothly at least, which indicate that he was working... something.

Tried the basic: check components, take out and put in again card, test other DVI and HDMI cables, different electricity outlets (with and without nobrake), one cable at a time, all cables at the same time and change thru "change image source" at monitor etc. no good.

Tried my monitor in other PC at my house, worked fine. Then I took out the graphic card and tested on the motherboard graphics port. Worked fine. Crap. It was the graphic card indeed (I was hoping it could be only the monitor).

Tried to change performance on windows to high, I already had disable any kind of power save mode but rechecked just to be sure, I even went to bios to change to PCI on boot.

Don't know what to do anymore. My card is 2 or almost 2 years old. So that's my situation now: the PC functions normally and even the graphic card fan works normally, but if I try to connect the monitor to the graphic card he just stay in power save mode (a little info: if there's no cable connected the monitor tell me to check connections. Then I connect, he knows that I have connected and change to power save mode)

Systems:
Windows 7
8g ram
i5 intel
Radeon Sapphire HD 7950
Lg Flatron w2353V

Don't know which more info u guys could want.
