Hi,

I'm new to the forums and was hoping you guys could put my mind at rest. I've just upgraded to a GTX 770 SC with the Titan cooler (manf code 02G-P4-3771-KR) and am a bit worried as its running very hot, HW Monitor showed 86c while i was trying out different games just to see what the looked like, so was only a brief session! Is it acceptable for the card to be running on those sort of temps? The full setup is:

Fractal R4 window case (stock fans, one extra exhaust at the bottom)
AS Rock Z77 Extreme 4 mb
i5 3570k
EVGA GTX 770 SC Titan Cooler
Corsair Vengeance 4gb x4
Corsair CX750M psu

If you need anymore info please let me know

Thanks in advance all

Yes, keep in mind its already been super-overclocked by evga and would come with a fan profile that tries to maximize quietness over cooling.
You can use a few utilities to change the fan profile to one more to your liking though I'm not sure what works best with EVGA cards.

Thanks for the reply mate. I've played around with the EVGA software that allows you to adjust the fan profile, the only thing is that above 60% fan speed it makes an absolute racket, and when the temps ramp up I've seen fans hit 84% of full speed.

Ideally I would like the card to run as quietly as possible as noise is a big issue for me, just don't think I can achieve this at the temps it's hitting.

I've seen many reviews of this card where people say they never experience over around 65c,so I'm confused as to why mines so high.
