AMD ATI HD 2600 XT can run on 300 watt PSU???

this graphic card only uses about 50 W. If you dont have larger no. of hdd or other stuff, it will work fine on 300psu

I don't advise you buy it because its very old. That graphics card is like 2006 or 2007 at newest. Many modern cards, even slow ones, are capable of much higher performance. I would advise you get a more modern card.

Well I wasn't really talking about high end graphics. I understand money being tight, but maybe you should check on like an Nvidia GT 430 or GT 620, or GT 720, or GT 730, or AMD 6770.
These cards are all much newer, use a lot less power, and would give a much better bump in performance for a low price normally
