Hi guys!
I've been wanting to over clock my AMD FX8320 for a little while.
After reading up on settings and how to over clock, i decided to give it ago.
But, i've discovered a weird problem which no one seems to have written about before.
When i now start up my PC, It Starts up, for about a second, Stops (all fans stop) then starts up again for about a second, Stops again, then starts up as normal. The over clock according to CPU-Z has working (It's 4GHZ as for now, trying to build it up).
Anyone know how i can fix this?
The CPU Cooler i'm using is a h100i!
Any help is appreciated!
Cheers!

It sounds like you are OC'ing by using Windows software rather than doing it in BIOS. The system starts at its normal speed until it begins to load the OS. At that point it receives the instruction to change BIOS parameters and has to reboot with the new settings.
If you are OC'ing with software, don't. Make the OC changes in BIOS instead. Then that shouldn't happen except for the first new boot after the changes.

I've done some more investigating, and turns out it's just something that happens with this motherboards (no one has a solution, if there is one, it's not been found yet)

I used to have the same exact set up and the reason it does that on boot up is cause you turned turbo mode off its perfectly normal for that board and isnt hurting anything(i dont think) if it bothers you that much just turn turbo back on but make the turbo multi the same as your Overclock thats what i did and didnt notice any instabilty due to turbo being on
