I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to any type of networking stuff.
I use a zte mf93d with LTE as my internet. My desktop doesn't have wireless so i have it plugged in at all times, and that has probably been killing the device slowly. Now it wont always charge and sometimes dies completely and i have to plug it to the wall to charge and cant use internet. My parents rarely use the computer so i can always just carry it to their desktop pc when they need it. But they do watch netflix on it and the range from my room where the zte is plugged in yo my pc is enough to go to their TV so they can watch netflix.
Now I dont know how i should replace this? should i just buy a new zte mf93d and keep replacing it each time it dies? Are there like modems that i can put a sim in?
Before you go asking. I live in a fairly remote place in Finland and we dont get any broadband. But the LTE is great. But I dont know what kind of device/modem i can use with an sim to get the best results in my situation. So thats plugged in to my pc while wirelessly giving internet to my parents tv upstairs. I prefer something that has no battery so that it wont die on my from constantly being plugged in.

Sorry for all my typos English is not my first language!

You best bet is a router that supports cellular broadband. There are some that take a USB modem as the wan connection and other that take the SIM dierctly. Cradlepoint tends to be the one that makes routers that can take a internal sim but there are many other manufactures, cradlepoint was one of the originals and you pay a premium for their stuff.

Still it is not that simple unfortunately. Even when you know it is LTE and the device supports sim cards there are many other variable. The key one being the frequencies the radios need to run on. Also many times when you use the USB devices you need special drivers and on a router you can't simply load a disk like a pc the router manufacture has to build in the support and issue a...

You have to be really sure the hardware supports your ISP

I would see what your ISP has to offer. They may have a router they recommend that works. The ones that have the sims directly in the units tend to be the simplest to use but then you have issue of the router must be in a location that it can get good signal from the cell tower yet provide wireless to your house. The routers that use USB dongles have the advantage of being able to use a long USB cable and put the LTE part in a window and put the router someplace close but generally better than the window.

The first step is going to be to see what you ISP offers. Some actually have outdoor routers you mount on the side of the house and then run a wire into the house to connect a wireless AP. This design generally offers the best home service. This is a fast changing technology so I can't even guess what is available to you.
