You can probably extend to a R9 280 or GTX 760 with that budget. But the 270X is a very good card too.

i was thinking to get a really similiar build to your iwth the 760k and the xfx r9 270x. Would this build be able to play games like bf4, rust, gta 5

Yes it will, but depends on your resolution. If you have more than 1920x1080 and are used to enable anti-aliasing, try getting a R9 280 (non x).

for minimum bottlenecking. GEt the fx-6300 instead of the athlon for more bf4 fps or the intel i5 2500k.
