I have been looking at quite a few IPS monitors and I have a very hard time deciding. Mainly because i do not understand the difference between certain IPS monitor models.
My budget is around 150£.
I have mainly been looking at ASUS monitors because i have heard that they are good.

My current picks are:

ASUS PB238TR (http://www.amazon.com/PB238TR-Widescreen-Multimedia-Mon...)

ASUS VS239HV (http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS239HV-LED-Monitor-58-4cm-2...)
(I wanted to buy the VS239H-P, but for some reason they arent selling them in my country. I live in Sweden.)

Acer IPS G246HYLbd 24 inch is currently on sale but i have not had any experience with acer products. Is it a good monitor?

(If anyone here is an expert on ASUS monitors, can you please explain the difference between the different models. For example how is the PB238TR different from the PB238Q and how is the VS239HV different from VS239H-P?)

Feel free to suggest any other monitor brand. My only requirements are that the Picture quality and color is GREAT and that the response time is good for gaming.

There are only a few things you're going to want to look for. Firstly, get either an Asus, Acer, or a Benq. Other companies make some good monitors but there's no reason to buy them because these three are the best. For specs, just look for the size you want, then find the ones in that size that have a refresh rate of 60Hz and a response time 5ms or under (you wont notice a difference between 1ms-5ms). That's mostly it because if it's an IPS, that dictates good viewing angles.

Out of the two you provided links for I'd go with the VS239HV.

Does BenQ really make good IPS monitors? I thought they focused on TN monitors...

Btw, do you know what the difference is between the VS239HV , VS239H-P and the VS239H by any chance?

this is one that fits your budget. it has very thin bezel! the differences between the asus monitors is on the input connections mainly. PB238TR additionally has a superior stand with a lot more adjustments!all good for gaming!
Benq is focusing on the tn panels and offer better response time and input lag but they lack in color reproducion and viewing angles

I just noticed that the PB238TR is over 200$ on newegg. But I dont plan to buy it from newegg. I found that the PB238TR is 150£ here in Sweden. Would you recommend the PB238TR if it fits my budget? Is it better then the VN238H? Also is there a difference between picture quality on the PB238TR and the PB238Q? or is it just input differences?
