Administrator permissions not working

I've had issues with opening programs, and things like the search box not working.

I made a new admin account and everything works fine of that one.

How do I make it so I have 1 account with FULL administrator control, like a SU?

you can just remove your previous, malfunctioning account. you don't need any SU, everything should be fine with your new account

As i know, you don't. If we speak of ordinary accounts with admin rights. Only option is to enable the SU user 'Administator' and work under that account. Google [Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows 8]

But... If you made a new account and everything is fine, I kinda don't understand what do you need now)))
