Haven't used any of them so can't really tell, what I can tell you is to aim for a 990FX chipset mobo, solid capacitors is also something to look for though I'm pretty sure most high end mobos pretty much have them as a standard.

Personally I've been with my Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and my FX-8320 running 24/7 practically non-stop for 1 1/2 years now, very solid mobo with no issues at all so you might want to consider it as well.

wow... those are your only choices? the best motherboard for the fx series chips is the Sabertooth, Asus m5a99fx Pro or even a m5a99x evo... i wouldn't touch an MSI motherboard on the AMD platform... and i'm equally leery of Asrock... though that asrock is solid... it's a step lower then those boards i listed

of the ones you listed i'd rank them as follows...

1a) asrock Fatal1ty -this board has all the bells and wistles of a high end board, so it's an attractive option in some respect. the poor VRM cooling and low quality VRMs really take the shine off this board though, limiting the overclocks you'll get with it.
1b) asus m5a97 -this is a budget board with no bells and whistles, but it should actually overclock better then the asrock. depending if you want a feature rich motherboard or a overclocking board will help you chose between them.

Best AMD overclocking boards -

1b) Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
2a) Asus m5a99fx Pro
2b) Asus m5a99x Evo
3) Gigabyte 990fxa-UD5/7
4) Gigabyte 990fxa-UD3 rev.4

Best Features on an AMD board
1) Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
2a) Asrock Fatal1ty
2b) Gigabyte 990fxa-UD7
3) MSI 990fxa-GD80
4) Asus 990fx Sabertooth

-i've owned personally the m5a99x Evo and the sabertooth... my overclocks were pretty much identical between the two, though i was able to stabilize some overclocks with slightly less vcore... though the sabertooth definitely has a better feature set, and it's able to handle more voltage... as i definitely hit a wall at 1.55 vcore with the evo.
