Which card should i get and is this a good upgrade?

The GTX 750 Ti is the faster card. There isn't a lot of difference, but it has a faster RAM clock and more CUDA cores.

PCIe x16 2.0 is your motherboard's PCIe x16 slot version. That will comfortably support either GPU.

You may want to look into your PSU voltage. The GTX 750 and 750 Ti really want a minimum PSU voltage of 400W, with anything more powerful giving you safety leeway.

Thank you i will be ordering the card later on today. By the way with the psu voltage thing i was looking at some reviews and people said it worked fine with 300 watts. Your help really means allot.

It will indeed work at 300w. That's Nvidia's recommended PSU voltage for the card. However, in reality a card can occasionally draw more power than the manufacturer references. The card will indeed run fine at 300w. However, to get the absolute maximum out of the component I'd recommend a 400w PSU.

How come you said i can support the 750 ti SC if it uses PCI Express 3.0 and i have 2.0?

A PCIe x16 2.0 slot will happily support most PCIe x16 3.0 cards presently on the market. The only exceptions being the absolute cutting edge models presently out, which will not quite perform at their maximum. The 750 series of Nvidia GPUs are fully supported by PCIe x16 2.0 without performance loss.
