Hey guys, I have an ancient PC, and there is an issue with my RAM.

The problem is that the memory should run at 1066 MHz, but it only runs at 800 MHz.

My motherboard is P43ES3G, which supports Dual-Channel DDR2 memories, up to 1200 MHz.
My memory is Kingmax KLEE88F-B8 running in Dual-Channel (2x2GB).
According to Gigabyte, my mobo supports this RAM @ 1066 MHz, so I don't know what is the issue.

I have no BSODs, or anything like that, but it still bugs that it could be faster...

BTW I'm not really satisfied with this RAM, at first it didn't even work, I had to RMA it, and the problem was surely with the RAM, I've tested it in my friends PC.

Thanks in advance!

Edit:
Oh, and I forgot, my CPU is Intel Core 2 Duo E7400, which actually supports DDR3, so I guess (blindly) not this is the issue.

It could be a compatibility issue with your memory. Do you have the latest bios?

Also what is the CPU running at? should be at 2.8, the CPU is a native 1066 CPU and your mobo is native to a 800 FSB....Your mobo may be set at default of 800, if so need to raise the FSB to 1066 as the DRAM won't run faster than the FSB so if at 800, that would be the fastest the DRAM could run at

How bout w/ a single stick? can you get to BIOS? If so try setting the DRAM voltage to 1.9 and raise the NB Voltage + 0.075 save, exit shut down and then try adding the second stick
