While playing Watchdogs today on ultra, after about 2 hours of gameplay my screen went completely black for a few seconds (but gameplay continued and was responsive... for example, I pressed "escape" during the black screen, and when the screen kicked-in again, the game was paused). After a few seconds the screen kicked back in and the gameplay resumed. It then happened again shortly after so I stopped playing. The problem has never happened before and has not happened again since I stopped playing.
It felt like my GPU was having some issues keeping up with the game, but I don't see why that would be the case. The PSU is very good and 750W is more than enough. The GPU should easily handle the game on ultra (in fact, when I select the "auto-detect" option for graphics, it chooses Ultra automatically). My GPU temperatures were fine (never got above 65 celsius during the 2 hours of gameplay). Everything looks 100% fine... so any ideas why this happened?
