Hi Guys,

Thinking about putting a gtx 750ti in my oldish desktop machine, specs of which are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.40GHz)
Foxconn G9657MA-8KS2H (Mobo)
4GB DDR2 PC2-5300
AMD Radeon HD 6670

was thinking the specs of the card looked great for the price to help me get a bit more out of gaming on a budget but worried the dated processor / ram may bottle neck its capabilities / not get its full potential

what do you think? much appreciated

It will bottleneck the card, you should see some improvement but you will be holding the card back with the rest of your system.

That is a low end card that should work fine with that CPU.

With the new card you will be able to play at higher esolutions and higher detail settings. Your CPU will choke the same in clogged up areas of the game with either card.

They can but in your case, probably not. A true bottleneck would be adding a 780ti to a celeron pc,lol. But I think you'll be fine
