No plans of changing Proc, just looking for a good GPU to pair up with my current set up. Also was hoping that it would be the "best" or the "maximum" GPU that i can place for my current set up. any suggestions?

what computer is this? did you buy it form a store? knowing what power supply you have would be nice. but likely the best card for you situation is a gtx750/gtx750ti. your processor is pretty weak.... you replace your processor with an a10-5800k and just the built in graphics on that processor will give you a huge jump in gaming performance... though you would still be far from high quality 1080p performance.

if you had the a10 processor in there, you could get a much better gpu without having much of a bottleneck. then you could run up to a gtx660/r9-270 without much problems and get great 1080p performance.

if this is a store bought pc, your power supply may not have power pins for a graphics card in which case you would have to use a gtx750/750ti that doesn't need external power pins and gets all its power from the pcie16x lane.

Your budget?

I would say go for anything up to GTX760, R9 280/hd7970. If you're not familiar with videocards on market we'll advise.

P.S. there are games that use GPU mainly, and there are games that use much CPU too. Best PC is balanced PC, right, but you could buy some gooood video and see what you can play with it.

Yeah Right, with a AMD A4-5300, I don't think so

on what exactly do you disagree?

The A4 would seriously bottleneck those cards.

i KNOW exaples of A4-5300 with 760 and 680 cards playing BF4 at 40FPS 1920*1080. Personally I don't think they are bottlenecked, and with any lower video FPS would drop, IMHO. As I say there are examples, people do build such PCs

difference of 750 and 760 is 15% maximum. yet you foretell 40% bottleneck. IMHO you should reconsider.

the difference in performance from a 760 to a 680 is huge... about 30% clock for clock... and the 680 will have no problem holding 60fps in a 64man bf4 server on any map.

I know. Was just saying people do that))) the point is about 760 vs 750 and 270 vs 280. If I had money for the best of them - i would buy it.

No plans on upgrading Proc. Just want to finish this CPU before i "pass it on". So stuff this guy has inside will be as it is. I built this CPU some years ago and am planning to maximize its potential before i give it to my sister. Anyway, aren't gtx's nVdia cards? aren't there compatibility issues for AMD and nVdia?
