I also have issues trying to use 3 identical monitors on this graphics card. I have used the displayport for the main HDMI for monitor (2) and have tried both DVI ports for monitor (3). Each time I boot Windows message pops up and says to disconnect monitor (3). Can anyone provide on this issues ? Thank You

For your primary monitor you need a DisplayPort to DisplayPort connection. If your monitor does not have a DisplayPort input you need an ACTIVE DisplayPort to DVI converter.

For monitors two and three you need a DVI to DVI connection.

Dp does not need to be primary and you can use hdmi. Are you using a dp cable with no adapter?

I want to be clear on the monitor connections and on hand hardware. Each monitor has VGA and HDMI only no DVI
For cables I have VGA to VGA,DVI to DVI and HDMI to HDMI. For adapters I have DVI to HDMI, DVI to VGA and DP to HDMI. The DP to HDMI is a short cable DP male X HDMI female, SIIG DP to HDMI adapter as its called on the package. Any help is greatly appreciated. this is the DP to HDMI adapter that I have http://www.siig.com/av-products/cables-and-adapters/dis...

Could you link to the dp adapter? Converter and adapter are often interchangeable terms so we differentiate with the terms, passive or active, if it converts the signal or not. It needs to be active or it won't work.

It's passive, it states in the specs, that's why it's not working. You need something like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
