I just have a quick question for the AMD FX 6300. In my pc build my processor runs at around 38-45 degrees Celsius idle and when its under heavy load it could reach about 60 degrees Celsius to almost 70 but when I close out after what I am doing for a while it drops really quick. All I want to know if those temperatures are safe because I never overclock or nothing. I sadly don't have water cooling but why bother getting water cooling if I am not going to overclock. Thanks guys!

Is this the stock cooler?
The stock cooler is known for being sub par, those temps are a bit high for the stock cooler, but thats to be expected. I wouldnt recommend passing 60C on AMD FX processors, but you can run higher for short periods of time.

In either case, pick up something like the 212 EVO. It will keep you nice and cool, and you can OC if you need to.
