My grandfather found a toshiba satellite L35-S1054 in a house he was cleaning, preparing for a new family to move in. The previous owner of the laptop left it there in hopes someone else could use it. THIS LAPTOP IS NOT STOLEN. all I have is the laptop itself and the charger. I am trying to factory reset the laptop but I don't know the phoenixbios password. I know nothing about computers so I don't want to take it apart in risk of completely breaking the laptop. is there anyway I can factory reset it as if it were a new laptop and start from the beginning? PLEASE HELP.

We have no way to verify that you are in fact the rightful owner and therefore cannot offer any assistance with bypassing password security of any kind.
