Need a better CPU.

I have a problem with bottlenecks on CPU intense games. Right now I have a AMD 750k with a MSI A88X-G45 Gaming motherboard fm2/fm2+ overclock to 4.3 GHz, and I have two R9 270x Sapphire Toxic edition GPUS in crossfire.

I can run non CPU intense games max out no problem, but when it comes to BF4, Crysis 3, and similar games i get very low frame rates. The GPUs are not even pushing past 50% usage, and on BF4 my CPU is pushing as much as it can and my gpus barely heat up, frame rates in that game range from 25-39 depending on environment. And it is always volatile, up and down all the time. It doesn't even matter what presets I select; low, med, high, or ultra all frame rates are the same. I have tried all the drives, the latest beta and the last stable drivers.

What is the best solution to get the most out of my GPUs, I want the best price to performance ratio, and I am thinking Intel. If I upgrade to the latest AMD apu it still wont be enough to push two r9 270x.

I did not buy all this together, I already now all about this problem. All I'm asking is for someone to please till me what its the best bang for your buck, I do not video edit or anything like that. So please don't tell my why I "shouldn't of done this" or "Why would you even have that hardware together" I KNOW it makes some people think to themselves, "Why this he do this, is he dumb or something." So please understand, I didn't go out and get all this together.

You don't have to go with an Intel setup, but I wouldn't go with anything less than an Amd 970/990fx chipset motherboard and fx8320/fx8350 Cpu. If you want budget, I'd toss in a 970 chipset M/b for about 75 dollars, and fx8320 Cpu for about 140:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($139.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $209.98

That would push the crossfire setup you have just fine. You'll get better performance with an Intel I5 setup...

Why would you buy any APU if you Crossfire two discrete gpu's? The best APU is a 7850K with basically the same IPC as your 750K. Maybe a smidge better. You need to go AM3+ or better yet Intel.

If you want an unlocked Intel Cpu for overclocking, you'll spend quite a bit more though. The Amd setup can overclock as is, and you'll find that you'll get exceptional bang for your buck if you go that route.

unfortunately as others have suggested, a motherboard + cpu upgrade is what you will need. If your budget allows an intel core i5 of some description would do the trick. Or alternatively amd's fx8320 and OC it, but this still wont help much in some games that dont utillize more than 2 cpu cores, for that the i5 is a more well rounded cpu.
