Based on the first link a 770 beats a 290x...
None of those are benchmark sites, or really trusted names for that matter. They are based around one game, with little to no info in the systems used, or test types.

now look at this http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html
750 ti beats 650 ti boost not beacause of the info of this site but many sites says the same.
even overclocking 750 ti an r7 265 its 750 ti that wins and they say that r9 270 is only 20 percent better than 750 ti overall.
if techpowerup is right why videocardbenchmark.net says otherwise like many other sites.

Thats because you are looking at passmark scores and synthetic benches. Techpowerup is based off of ingame performance.
