Currently in my machine I have one GeForce 8400 and need to add one or two more monitors, can I add an additional 8400 card for the additional monitors. All of the monitors are identical.

So I already have a spare 8400 is it possible to use it in the same machine to support 2 more monitors ?

GeForce 8400 is really old, here are two things you can do:

1. (recommended) get a cheap Geforce GT 740 or radeon r7 250 so you only have one graphics card instead of two.
2. Unless you need SLI their is no need to get another identical 8400, so getting a cheap GT 640 to use with the 8400 you could also do.
