How futureproof is my build?-Complete OVERKILL?

How much years do you give it before it needs any hardware updates.
Also what do you think about the build should there be any changes?

I know it is complete overkill for this monitor but I got used to it-NOTE: I WON'T BE UPGRADING!

I don't think it is overkill at all. In fact it is quite conservative compared to some builds that I see. It should be current for a few years. The GTX 800 Series is expected very soon.

You wont be upgrading the PC? or the monitor?
That build is just fine, if you were going to a 1080p monitor it would still be fine.

You should probably get a Z97 motherboard considering you have a K series processor

it shouldnt have an issue lasting 4-5 years with that monitor resolution.

I built my i5-3470 almost two years ago and since there has been nearly no progress CPU-wise since, I would expect it to be good enough (for me) for at least another three years.

People who need all the processing power they can get generally know who they are. For most of the rest, upper-mainstream chips like the i5 or FX63xx/83xx are unlikely to feel genuinely old any time soon aside from connectivity.

Like was mentioned above, go with a Z97 motherboard. I would also bump up the RAM to 1866 CL9 or 2400 CL10. But the rest is fine.
