I have an issue with my first non-oem build. I have built/modded dozens of PCs, but never used a non-oem case or mobo. Recently I decided that none of what is on the market appealed to me, and decided to build my own system from scratch using non-oem parts.

So the case I purchased is a NZXT Guardian RB (Blue) which has kool front LEDs and a front bottom fan as well as a temp readout. I am not familiar with any of these things.

The mobo I have is an MSI 760GM-P23. Not the most modern but it is all I need.

The problem I have is I am puzzled with all the front panel connections. Specifically, there is a weird 2 pin connector that connects to a molex that says "Power LED" which I assume is for the blue lighting and temperature readouts on the front panel becuase they are not working and all my other connections are hooked up and *fine.

The PC boots, gets into Windows, doesn't overheat...but when I hook the molex to the PSU I get nothing, no front lights, no temp leds.

I had to wait due to family emergencies to put this build together so it is too late to return anything.

*The only other weird part is the front usb has killed two of my devices, a portable HDD and a flash drive. Both were hot and not working. The back USBs work fine and can live without the front anyway.

Please help? I am at a loss!
