I can get the r9 280x vapor-x for a low price or should I just fork over the extra $60 and get the vapor-x tri-x?
Just between those two, not including the toxic.

Solution
Nah, the r9 280x would be fine with 2 fans. There would probably be a few frames you'll gain out of the extra fan, but it'll also be extra space. I say it's not worth the extra 60$.
I prefer having a brand new card myself, just so I don't really have to worry as much about warranties and what not. If it's a used card, it depends on what the card was used for. If it was a mining card, I would just save up for a new card. Mining cards go through a lot of stress as a result of being in a mining rig and what not.

Thanks for the quick response btw. I did read that the tri-x has cooler temps and quieter fans. That wouldnt be of great significance if I dont plan to be overclocking so high would it? If anything I may just oc up until the temp begins to increase and leave it at that cuz ive never overclocked before.
