This happened a few weeks back, but then stopped after i updated my firmware for my router and now the problem is back, I am not able to connect to my internet even though it says i have an internet connection, my phone is also unable to connect to the wifi, while my laptop is able to connect to the wifi . This happens at random times. Sometimes i have an internet connection and sometimes i do not.

Edit: I am unable to go on google chrome, ie, firefox, etc. I am unable to go on games unless if i am already on the game before my internet "dies".

Edit 2: Sometimes my internet is really slow and the pages are loading really slowly, so i just see a white page with text on the left side of the page if i go on a website.

Need more details:
What router are you using?
open command prompt and run an "ipconfig /all" and see if there is a DNS address
Also in command prompt, run "ping -t google.com" and see if the times fluctuate
How old is your modem?
What type of internet connection do you have?

That WRT54G is a tank, but it may be time to be replaced. it could just be its old age.
Another thing to look at is if your modem's connection light is on showing it is connected to the ISP
