My computer started freezing randomly (mouse and keyboard stopped responding, no BSOD) two weeks ago. I read a bunch of threads on tomshardware.com but still cannot find a solution to my problem:

- I ran memtest86; test passed
- I ran chkdsk; test passed
- I ran antivirus and malware scanners; nothing found
- I ran a rootkit scanner; nothing found
- I changed video card; same problem
- I reinstalled Windows with latest drivers; same problem

Computer is running fine in Safe Mode but as soon as I start it in regular mode, it now freezes at Window's loading circle... :-(

I am currently running HD Tune and so far so good... I will update this thread once it finishes but I wanted to hear about your opinions & other things I could try before banging my head on the wall!

Thank you,
