Hey guys
i just bought a sapphire r7 260x OC edition and installed it on my pc.
Core i3 530
4GB DDR3 kingston @ 1333
DH 55HC intel motherboard.
I installed latest catalyst drivers available but the problems is, i installed Assassins Creed 3 and played it with normal settings at 1366x768 and i was getting around avg 20 FPS. I know that with such specs, i should be getting above 30 FPS at normal settings. Can any one suggest the solution.
Thanks

well the only reason i see here is the r7 260x is getting bottlenecked by your processor (u can update your BIOS see if that helps u i have seen in many cases that updating the BIOS increases the game performence so give it a try)...here is an example of r7 260x FPS for ac 4 at 1080p.......

lolllllll....The i3 processor can easily handle R7 260x without bottleneck....It can even handle GTX 770,R9 280x and many high end cards....Uninstall the present drivers and perform a clean install again by downloading...If the problem still persists then go on with us

That must be the game's fault.Assassin's Creed 3 is poorly optimized for PC.I have HD 7770 and on normal settings i do get 25-35 fps...But i get 40+ fps on assassins creed 4..The game is poorly optimized. And check the temperatures of GPU and CPU cause if it overheats the performance decreases...Select it as best solution if it helped you

Newest non-beta. If you're willing to be very slightly less stable but want better performance, go for the latest beta.

Make sure you have the display plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard.
