Budget Build for g3258

Solution

I7's build is very decent but I don't feel like its really worth it , stick with your build its fine .
You'll get good fps with that 280X without much bottlenecks if not at all in some games.
Looks good.

My attempt -

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor ($69.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($49.98 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Elite 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($85.84 @ Adorama)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($51.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R7 260X 1GB Video Card ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cooler Master Elite 311 (Silver) ATX Mid Tower Case ($36.99 @ Mwave)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $484.75

I sorta figured a 260x was a better balance.

actually even there's not much difference when gaming even with the 290X which seems interesting how strong the single threaded performance on the G3258. In other words he'll get so much lower fps with your build.

Certainly it won't unveil the full potential of the Card but its still very decent for its price and I've seen some benchmarks where the G3258 beats the I7-4790K and matches it in most games so its really a worthwhile choice.
