Yea,uhm,uhm,uhm,hmm,hum,uhm,pff... Anyway ive got some questions and im comparing 2 very similar motherboards thinking which 1 to purchase, both seem pretty similar but prices differ quite a lot they are ASUS M5A97 and ASUS M5A97 LE ,I notced or idk atleast the shop i went to the LE version was like way cheaper like 30$ cheaper, obviously there must be something what creates this huge (for me) gap. I wanna how they differ, most importantly is the non LE version any better performance-wise? if not then why should I buy it instead of obviously cheaper LE one? Performance-wise i meant like browsing, multitasking, gaming, durability, stability etc.

VRM means Voltage Regulator Module. They control the voltage provided to the CPU.

If the CPU is overclocked, it requires more voltage, and providing more voltage makes the 'VRM' get hot. Heatsinks are used to keep them cool, so that you can provide more voltage to the CPU without them overheating.

@ byza WHY WHY i looked at parameters, they look almost identical and price differs so much, why LE is worse? cmon whats wrong with it.. im looking to save etc..

you just said non LE is better and LE sucks..without arguments.. ,so I am not certain.

edit:
@: isub ,tyvm for the help, since im going to use FX-6300.. i think i'll need to overclock,so what would happen if id try overclock on LE? it would melt or something?

If you want to overclock go with the board with the heatsink, the VRM's (Voltage regulator module's) will need extra cooling on the LE in order to overclock, they will get too hot and cause instability otherwise.
