Weird Registry Problems- i7 4790k

So I recently purchased and installed a 4790k and checked my core parking status, saw that they were parked and decided to unpark them. Downloaded the popular core unparking app because I was being lazy and didn't feel like editing my registry. Only cores 0 and 1 showed up in the app. So I went to edit the registry, and sure enough only cores 0 and 1 are in the registry. Everything in msconfig, the task manager, and resource monitor show the 8 logical cores as cores 0-7. My system seems to be working correctly otherwise. Everything is stupidly fast, I just happen to play a lot of Battlefield 4 and don't want to run into problems others have reported. Plus this is really weird and want to hear what others have to say.
