Hello again, everyone. I have a question about an Idea I had.
I have an HP (Compaq) 6730b laptop, and it has a nice little ExpressCard slot. I love the idea of ExpressCard, because it actually lets you upgrade your laptops besides hard drive size and RAM. I was lucky enough to find an ExpressCard adapter for desktop graphics cards. I've seen how these work, and I think it's fantastic. I have a Radeon R7 250, and I thought it would be a good idea to use that for the ExpressCard laptop.
The laptop has a Duo Core P8700. Now, my current desktop has a Pentium E2180, and the graphics card SEEMS to run at full power in there, to be honest, I'm not used to AMD, I can't be sure. I DO know for a fact though that the P8700 is more powerful than the E2180, but I want to know for a fact that it won't bottleneck. Does anyone know how to check that WITHOUT me buying the adapter first?
