Hello,
I've a very unpleasant problem with my RT-N53 in repeat mode. I have wireless router TP-Link TL-WR740N and I've connected my RT-N53 to it in a repeat mode, and connected RT-N53 to the PC with a cable.
First of all the RT-N53 automatically disconnects every 5-6 hours and the only way bring it back I need to restart the PC or even reset the N53 settings. Error imange and I can't log in to N53, my PC just can't find him, nor the device utilities.
I've latest firmware for the N53, maybe downgrading will make a difference or it may because of the dynamic IP? The thing is my laptop is running without slightest problem (connected directly to the TP-Link router)
Then I have a second problem regarding the big drop in the speed. My laptop runs about 50-60Mbps download and upload, when connected directly and N53 is off. When I connect the N53 speed on both PC and laptop speed drops to 5-12 Mbps. N53 runs on 2.4GHz.
I'm not very good in wireless stuff and sorry for the long text.
