So I was attempting to root my android A1-830 and i was following a tutorial on the xda forums that tons of people said worked for them and for the program to recognized my device i had to install an unsigned driver. I rebooted my system to disable the driver enforcement and once i did that my pc pc wouldnt turn on (didnt install the driver yet i only disabled the enforcement) i tried many times to use the repair built in to windows 8 at boot and it wouldnt boot still. I finally got my pc to boot once i removed the disc from the disc drive (Justified Season 3 disc) and once i was in windows everything was going really slow and alot of stuff wouldnt not respond or wouldnt load. Also the C drive is now showing 95.3gb of total space when it said 121gb (256gb ssd in 2 121gb partitions) before i disabled the driver reinforcement. I ended up installing the driver and rooting my device once it booted because i thought it was fixed but it wasnt.

I'm a tech savy person and a computer science major and I cant seem to figure out whats up. Maybe I overlooked something.

All help is appreciated.
Thanks.
