If you want the pc for normal use take a G3220, if you want for some gaming take the I3, if you want it for hard gaming take the G3258 with a Z97 motherboard and a good cooler and OC your system.

Thanks. What Z97 MOBO do you recommend? microcenter is running a combo deal with this CPU along with MSI Z97 pc mate. Can I use this board in the future using i5 or maybe i7? Thanks again.

That microcentre deal is a bargain, and yes that mobo can be used with an i5 or i7 later on.

Ye its a cheap and decent choice.
And yes you can use this mobo for an 5th generation intel, even an I7-5930k* with 500$.

( Maybe the next I7-4930k )

You are thinking of Ivy Bridge E and Haswell E those are LGA2011 and LGA2011-3 boards respectively. And they aren't going to be compatible with each other. Haswell E will be running DDR4.

Best you could put in an LGA1150 board right now is the Devil's Canyon i7-4790k, and whatever model they come out with for Broadwell.

Yes, that's plan for now to use a 1150 board.
