Hello everyone,
I have been working a build : http://pcpartpicker.com/user/RamySar/saved/Znt9TW
and I cant decide whether to get the FX 6300 vs. FX 8350 vs. Intel Core i5 4570.
I would prefer an overcockable CPU, and I am open to suggestions.
On a side note if anybody knows a good gaming case under $50 I am looking for one.
Thanks for the help in advance!

the 4670k would be the next option if your where to go intel but if that is to expensive and fx 8320 might be a good idea as it is really cheap and just a 200mhz lower clocked fx 8350 and for a case iw ould reccomend a cooler master elite 431 or corsair carbide 200r

Intel no doubt Why do you think so
I would always go with a Intel processor so if u had the money i would say i7 4770k
Eum no as an gaming cpu an i7 is not reccommended as the HT is just not used enough to justify the purchase thats why an i5 is always the smarter buy.

FX-6300: $110
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P: $75 after rebate
That gets you to an R9 280X on the video side, with enough cash left over for an SSD.

Many people on this post have told me that the intel core i5 4570K would be a better option and I looked at thye r9 280X and the reviews were horrible compared to the reviews of the gtx 760.
Here is my build : http://pcpartpicker.com/user/RamySar/saved/Znt9TW

Intel is usually faster than AMD for gaming but it's not as significant a lead as it used to be. Here are some benchmarks that might help:

Actually i would reccommend this more then the intel part because an ssd is like a most have as a boot and programs drive + you get a better gpu but one thing i would change is get and fx 8320 that will also help i noticed the difference between the 2 and it is worth the 15$ more

I understand that the performance is better but is the quality good. The price difference between the core i5 4570K and the fx 6300 is $130 so I dont understand how they could be the same performance

both are about the same ocing has a lot to do with the cpu to so if he has a lucky cpu then he will need a 990fx chipset to unlock that cpu's potential but if he has an unlucky cpu any board will do.

Better VRM and VRM cooling.
8+2 power phase design= more "cleaner" voltage into the cpu
Similar or cheaper than the Asrock extreme 4,

maybe that 1 card you are looking at is bad but trust me an r9-280x isn't bad at al its at the same level of an gtx 770 but a bit cheaper (at least where i live i can't find a gtx 770 that isn't more then 50€ cheaper then a normal priced r9-280x) plus the never settle bundle is back and you get a couple of free games with the r9.

The 770 is actually cheaper in a lot of countries. This is a great 280X if you can afford it.
