my flash drive is SanDisk cruiser fit 16 gb.
i've tried these methods:
1. regedit
2. cmd disk part when i check read only is off but currently read only is on.
3. formatting
4.killing the drive (deleting every single file, and i got media is write protected error)
5. NTFS write protection program. it said it didn't have neccessary permits.

There are references to dealing with read-only flash drives here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/272402-32-flash-drive .
NTFS is a different animal. When you move an NTFS formatted drive between systems, the protections are totally different even if the account names are the same. Have you used it on more than one machine?

I think that the first step would be to show the file protections on the root directory, then list them here or, better yet, provide an image. That way we can deal with it if it's an NTFS issue. But the fact that you've formatted it and still have the problem suggests that it isn't.

When you tried the NTFS write protection program, were you logged in as an admin?

no, I couldn't reformat it. I got error saying it was write protected. I used this drive on 3 computers all running windows 7. I ran NTFS Write protection program as administrator.

And do you get the same results on all 3? Or can you write to the drive from one of them?

By the way, you're not hoping that I'll solve this. You're hoping that someone with more experience will see the questions-and-answers and figure it out!

I'm sorry. I PMed 3 people that had high solution rates in storage category.
but they didn't bother with it.
I'm sorry for this. but as you can see you're my "last resort"
and also
Yes I get same results on all 3.
I don't know what's wrong...

I'm sorry but how can I show the file protections on the root directory?

Was what popatim wrote what you tried already, or have you tried it?

For root directory protections, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the drive, select Properties, select Permissions. There's one set of permissions per user / group / other entity.

BTW, we haven't mentioned the two simplest solutions.
1) Is there a slide switch somewhere on the flash drive? Some have physical write protect switches. If you find a little slide switch, switch it and try again.
2) Can you just buy a new one?
