I just bought a Monitor, CPU and Graphics card to upgrade my Desktop.
My question is what is the installation procedure? Can I install the CPU and Graphics Card together while the tower is open and powered down and then hook up the new monitor at the same time and then power up? Or should I install one item at a time , restarting the computer every time?? Thank You for your advice!!

Clean your hands with a dish-washing soap to make sure there is no body-oil on your hands. Remember to clean your cooler with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Do not use any tissue or q-tips or towel as it could leave lint there which could burn. Use microfiber cloth. (I personally use my old lens cleaner cloth)

Constantly touch your case to ground your body away from static.

I would install the new CPU first, boot, make sure everything is working (like Windows, sometime if it detects a new CPU you will have to reenter the product key, assuming you didn't get an OEM version. If you did, you might need a new copy of windows), THEN install the new video card, boot into the BIOS, and select on board graphics (plugging the monitor into the motherboard). Go and install the GPU drivers, restart into the BIOS and go back to using the video card and move the monitor cable to the GPU.
