i5 2410M not using both cores

hey guys ,
so i have a toshiba laptop satellite i52410 and it started getting really slow for me.. I checked my cpu-z and for my surprise it shows only 1 core and 1 thread.
can anyone help me with this ?

go to the bios menu and search for an option which tells that ENABLE CORES and you will get three options.one is AUTO and the other are 1 and 2..select 2 so that both the cores will be running everytime....If this dont help then press WINDOWS + R and you will see a dialog box.Press msconfig in that box and you will another dialog box...Go to BOOT tab and click on Advanced Options and Check NUMBER OF PROCESSORS and select the maximum value you have there...Thats it....This will solve your problem,and remember sometimes cpu-z also gives us wrong information,

i have the multi cores enable and in the boot tab i select the number of processors but it only shows 1.
any idea ?
