Hey guys, hopefully a simple solution?

Ive got an Athlon II x4 750k CPU and a Gigabyte G1 Sniper A88X motherboard but cant overclock, when in the bios the options are all set to auto and not changable. ive updated the bios and still no success. Also tried an overclock using Easy Tune 6 and the computer gets past POST then decideds to POST again (not starting windows) so i go back to default settings as thats all that seems to work.

The cpu is unlocked, and ive read some guy saying how he thinks this is the best motherboard he has overclocked on.. so where am i going wrong? whats the deal here guys?

Solution
I figured it out guys, instead of pressing enter to change settings like with the other settings, i have to use + or - to change the values. Stupid technology lol. Best answer right here ;)

auto means run the thing at stock speeds.

overclocking means to run the parts faster than stock speed.

You need to specify how fast you want the parts to run (aka set the #'s, not leave the CPU multiplier/frequency set to auto)
