Lately when it boots up now I get a post code of 9C that it hangs on too for a minuet or two, and then it proceeds to A2 where it waits longer than normal. The 9C is the power on south bridge initialization which seems strange. If someone could shed some light on this that would be awesome. Thanks in advanced.

Do you have anything connected to your USB that it could boot from? i had a similar problem on a ASRock Z97 extreme 4 and the boot order had it searching for a USB device to boot from. Also got the post code 9C on the board. Check your boot priority list.

Okay, I went to look at the boot order to find that I hadn't changed it back when I went to install windows (woops), the A2 post code has seemed to be fixed now, but the 9C is still taking a considerable amount of time, do you have any other suggestions?

I think that 9C code is unrecognized USB device. do you have anything connected? like an external drive or USB thumb drive ?

I just remembered that I have a Corsair H100i with "corsair link" plugged into a usb 2.0 port on my motherboard that I don't even use. Unplugged it and the 9C stopped, thanks for the help!
