I have a Raptor K50 keyboard that functions normally when plugged into one of the front USB ports. But when I attempt to connect the keyboard to my computer via any of the 4 rear USB ports or any of the other 2 front USB ports, a notification tells me that the USB device is not recognised. I've tried uninstalling the drivers, and restarting the PC with the keyboard in the rear ports, but windows will not recognise the device and install the drivers at all, unless the keyboard is plugged into a specific front USB port. All ports are functioning fine though as my mouse works no matter what USB it is plugged into, and USB storage devices also work. Any help would be appreciated, i want my keyboard to be plugged into one of the rear ports.

I have been fixing computers for over 20 years. USB ports are often "jiggy". Sorry for the non technical language. Google Intel USB problems and you will see what I mean. What I do is about what you are doing. Try finding a driver/software fix and if I can't, just use the functioning usb slot and not worry about it.
