want to link iptv stb onto network

hello, i got a prolink h5004n e9e router, got a sony bdv e380 hooked, got a iptv stb netgem N7700 which is untraceable, i guess on 192.168.1.3
what do i do to stream video from stb to pc monitor?
Many said I should get hdmi tv card capture.

None of those devices supports streaming to another device (the Sony can download a stream, but not re-broadcast it to your PC). The simplest option is if your PC monitor has an HDMI port, to just run an HDMI cable from the Sony to the monitor or the Netgem to the monitor. Of course if the monitor is in another room, that can be more troublesome.

You would need a device that can process and encode a video stream to software that can decode/watch it. For this, your best solution would be a streaming device like a Slingbox.
