Couple specific questions. I originally had this Intel i5 on the list, but changed up to the i7... Assuming no one here has a different suggestion for a CPU, should I make changes to the motherboard and/or power supply because of that? Also, I was looking at this XFX Radeon as an alternative to the EVGA card. Once again, assuming no one has any better suggestions, which one would be best?

Got a link? PCpartpicker has a bunch listed. Why is it not possible to overclock with the current motherboard? Honest, curious question.

For 50$ more (still under 1200$) you should no doubt bump up your gpu to a GTX 970 from EVGA. http://newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=14-487-076. I'm not an intel guy but don't be afraid to go a little over your budget and get a good mobo for overclocking
