Ridiculous high ping in Battlefield 4?

Hello!

I just started downloading BF4 and since i live in Chile (South america) i wanted to test my ping on some servers, so i went to battlelog.com, downloaded the battlelog plugin, and vualá, the ping numbers finally started to show up on every server, and here comes the problem, my ping in Argentina (Argentina is right next to my country) is 300+! but how?. I get 38ms on the servers located in my country, in brazil i get 90ms or 140ms, but in argentina i get 300ms, i don't get it, even in US servers i get 130-160ms...Even some argentinians say that their internet sucks d*ck, maybe that's the problem? or is battlelog.com not so accurate when showing ping on servers? Can someone explain this to me?

P.S My internet speed is enough to play online games

Try asking any friends if they can get a decent connection to an argentinian server with their own internet. If they get similar results as you then it may have to do with ISP support in that country not being up to par with everyone else in the world.

If there are servers close to me with decent ping, i'll join, i like to play with other people too, not the same over and over again, and because there aren't too many chilean servers(I think there are 4 chilean servers)...But i don't play on US servers because of the lag compensation, i don't want to ruin other players gameplay experience, maybe when ping isn't an issue anymore i'll play on north american servers, Thanks for answering!

That seems to be the problem, some friends get 80ms on argentinian servers, others get the same as me...Also in other games my ping in argentinian servers is like 170, so yeah, pretty bad ping on those servers...Maybe it's because their economy is not stable right now...So yeah, i think i'll just avoid joining those servers for now...Thanks for answering!! :)
